Marvin the Martian probably the most lovable alien ever created, besides ALF of course, is set to come to the big screen. The property is reportedly being developed as a blended live action / CG film to be aimed at a family friendly audience for Christmas 2009 or 2010.Producer Steve Crystal, explains the film as a "Christmas story, with Marvin coming to Earth to destroy Christmas but being prevented from doing so when he’s trapped in a gift box."
Currently the project is out to writers and directors. More on this project as it develops.
