Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman the writers we love and hate behind MI:III, Transformers, and the upcoming Star Trek are at it again, this time with comic property Atlantis Rising. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pair are adapting the 5 issue miniseries from last year into a feature film for Dreamworks (once again... they're still making new movies?!).In the somewhat predictable, yet still cool sounding, story of Atlantis Rising, "seismic disturbances at sea force world militaries to investigate the deepest part of the world's ocean, where an underground civilization emerges to wage war with planet Earth. " Yes, very exciting. The fate of both civilizations will hang in the balance I'm sure...
Sigh... if only they'd turn Crux into a movie.

I wonder if that will stay online for long now that its being adapted... Oh well, have to just check it out quickly. The fifth and final book in the mini is set to be released sometime later this month.
