Emmy nominations 2008

Nominations for the Emmy awards have been announced and I have to say I'm impressed. A number of the edgier extended cable networks have nominations. Shows that do not easily fit into the traditional big 3 or 4 cable skews have some really decent representation. Obviously the big one that's impressing me is Mad Men, who scored 16 nominations, but to also to see Damages, Dexter, Breaking Bad, and even Flight of the Conchords represented is very cool.

Here are the nominations as always with my personal picks for the winners in Red.
